Biology4Good!

If you want to show your appreciation for the IB Biology presentations, Essential Biology worksheets and other resources which are (and will always be) available to you for free, please make a donation to one of these charities via my list Biology4Good: http://www.gifts4good.co.uk/wishlist/index.php?number=GS4457

Gifts4Good guarantees that 100% of the donation is passed on to the charity, taking their costs only from gift-aid eligible donations.

Future plan (summer ‘10): resource DVDs for sale by donation.

  1. Off the ground – a sleeping bag for a rhino ranger!

    Thanks Mum and Dad.

  2. Here is a copy of the blog post from Andy at Give It:

“Now it’s been a while since I was last excited by biology (if you exclude the process of babies being born etc, which always gets me interested). But suddenly I find myself reading about cells and enzymes!

It’s all because of the most recent place one of our Gifts4Good wish lists has appeared (and the first time, as far as we know, that one has been used in such a way).

Biology-for-Good The wish list appears on Science Video Resources, a blog by Stephen Taylor. What lucky students to have such a great resource, and what a great guy to ask anyone who feels like showing some appreciation to make a donation to one of his chosen charities.

Be careful to set aside a few hours though, this stuff is seriously engaging!”

    Thanks Andy!

  3. If you feel like giving, please direct donations to the Cumbria Community Foundation for flood victims for the time being: https://www.cafonline.org/apps/charities/charityprofilelink.aspx?MainId=22613&SubId=157739&Source=CAF&CharityName=Cumbria%20Community%20Foundation
